Storing things in a small closet: nine ideas

Seven years ago, a beautiful and capacious PAX wardrobe appeared in my apartment. Over time, things accumulated and lost in the bowels of the closet. Finding the right clothes became problematic … Until then, until I decided to look at this issue from the inside. The update of the inner space gave the wardrobe the newest life. The mess is over!

The PAX Wardrobe Planner helped me with this. In the online program, I indicated the sizes, arranged the required internal equipment and found out the cost. After which I saved the sketch on the phone and went to the store for shopping. I’ll tell you in more detail what I did.

My old new wardrobe with sliding mirrored doors PAX MALM is divided into two parts. Behind the left door seasonal things hang: jackets, raincoats, coats. The upper shelves store extra blankets, pillows and rugs. In order for them to fit compactly, I came up with the idea of pre-packing them in a HAIDEBU vacuum bag. With this method of storage, things do not gather dust, and besides, you do not need to store excess air. I put this compressed bag into the SKUBB zipper bag – it fits perfectly into the narrow niche between the shelves in width and height. I will need the hidden things no earlier than six months later, so such a compact storage pays off. At the bottom of the closet lay a large flat suitcase – in it I store things that I use less often.

On the right side of the wardrobe are things for everyday wear. The KOMPLEMENT clothes bar is located at medium height, since only shirts are hanging on it, and the KOMPLEMENT multi-function retractable hanger hangs on trousers. Sweaters are located on the upper shelves. My closet is two meters high, so getting things out is not difficult. Here, from above, bedclothes are stored in SKUBB bags closed with a zipper. These bags are easy to remove from the shelf and slide back, thanks to the convenient handle.
