Depending on the width of the rail and the planned gap between it, the number of necessary parts is calculated. When cutting slats, it is advisable to use a construction angle that will allow you to put together a box without skewing. If the box is designed for tools or other things that do not require good ventilation, you do not need to leave a gap between the boards. It is necessary to nail boards tightly to each other.
