Within the meaning of the storage contract, the party that accepted the storage of the item is obligated to ensure their safety and return in the same condition. All losses caused to the depositor by the loss, shortage or damage of things shall be compensated: for the loss and shortage of things – in the amount of the value of the lost or missing things – for damage to the things – in the amount by which their value has decreased.
