Vacuum package allows you to save space in your wardrobe, closet or suitcase. In addition, it protects things from water, dust and odors. Bags can be of different thicknesses and strengths, colored and transparent, flavored and without aroma. With a careful appeal, the packets serve for a long time and do not lose their own parameters with repeated and frequent use.
Packages with a round valve are provided for storing things at home, the air from which is pumped out by an ordinary household vacuum cleaner. If there is no vacuum cleaner, air can be pumped out with any pump. The valve is equipped with a plug for additional protection against depressurization. Such bags serve longer than other types of bags, because they are not subjected to any kind of deformation – compression, twisting and bending.
In compressible (compression) bags, air is squeezed out by compression or twisting: the thing is placed in a bag, closed and twisted, starting from the zipper. At the same time, air exits through the compression valves – small gaps in the end of the bag. Such packages are chosen when it is not possible to use a vacuum cleaner. They cost less than bags with a valve, but it is more difficult to remove air by compression than with a pump or vacuum cleaner, so the volume of the bag is not reduced as much as in bags with a valve. In addition, excessive compression or twisting forces may damage the bag.
Bags with a hanger are ideal for seasonal storage of outerwear, as they seriously save space in the wardrobe. Some clothing, such as fur, should not be stored in vacuum bags. The weak point of such packages is the likelihood of damage to their shell by clothing accessories when pumping air.
Vacuum bags are transparent or colored. Colored bags allow you to hide the contents – this can be useful when the package is in a conspicuous place or in a suitcase, the contents of which others can see. Colors, patterns and drawings are very different.
It should be understood that bags, even colored ones, cannot be stored in direct sunlight – the film of the bag does not protect the contents from UV radiation, and things can lose their color.
